let's make it SIMPLE.

Professor H R Blackerby's book, BLACKS IN BLUE & GRAY, has a BIBLIOGRAPHY with a "laundry list" of his sources. (i have told you this at LEAST 2-3 times before!)

i do NOT have my own copy of the book, but it IS available from Interlibrary Loan. GO see for yourself, as i did.

Prof Blackerby states in his book (such that even the Minister of DAMNyankee Propaganda cannot misunderstand) that between 100,000 & 150,000 FREE Black men (and NOT a FEW Black women) were members of the CSA military forces.

If Blackerby said such a thing then Blackerby is nuts, because census data widely available shows that there were fewer than 25,000 free black males of military age in the entire south. So I'll ask again, did every single one enlist 4 to 6 times.
