What happened to the Berdan Brigade after Gettysburg?

It bounced around from corps to corps until early 1865 when the 2nd was disbanded. The units, the 1st and 2nd U.S. Sharpshooters, did have an active service life but I don't think that they were ever brigaded together. Berdan spent most of the war in D.C. talking up how good he was.
