Really!! Okay... let's check the facts. How many electoral votes did the yankee states give the Bush/Cheney ticket?
Again, you are missing the point. Of course President Bush got more electoral votes in the South. However, that does not translate into your seeming insistance that every Yankee is a liberal.
My home state of New Jersey cast more votes for President Bush (1,670,003) than Alabama (1,176,394), Mississippi (684,981), South Carolina (973,974), Tennessee (1, 384,375), Kentucky (1,069,439), Arkansas (572,898) or Louisiana (1,102,169).
2,832,704 people in Texas voted for Kerry, whereas only 1,911,430 New Jersey voters made that same mistake.
Not everything is as simple as to how Electoral votes were cast. State electorates are generally not homogenous and it is very dangerous to try to paint these electorates with broad generalizations. It is very misleading.
