"That soccer may be “the most popular sport in the world” speaks volumes—but not about America’s lack of sporting knowledge or sophistication, as soccer aficionados like to argue. Rather, I think it reflects the static, crimped, and defeatest attitudes held by so many of the other peoples on earth.

"The day that soccer becomes one of the most popular sports in the United States is the day that American exceptionalism diminishes in our souls."

Well, let's look at this another way.

The day that soccer becomes one of the least-popular sports in the world is the day that the world's Socialist mindset dies and is buried - and the world will have the US of A to thank for it.

So let's not give up the fight for entertaining pastimes, folks - KILL SOCCER FOR THE GOOD OF HUMANKIND!

Soccer is a very popular sport because it takes so little equipment, and most of the third word struggles to get shoes. Maybe golf would be the most popular sport in the world if every child on Earth had a free set of clubs and free access to Agusta.

I'm sick of other countries putting us down because we don't like soccer.

Maybe they are the idiots because they hate american football.

American football and baseball is catching on worldwide more than soccer football is catching on here.

The Chicago Fire did get a boost because they played in the upside down spaceship that the Bears call home for 2 seasons and you can't get Bears tickets so people went to Fire games to see the old/new place.

They should have stayed there.
