It is confusing, though, how a fellow who never got arrested could have even a probation officer. look at post 539.
Just because you don't get arrested(at the scene of the "crime") doesn't mean that you still don't have to go to court at a later date.

No thanks, that blog is for "parodys" You're not supposed to have more than one screen name!

I'm not allowed to have a private blog?

OK, point for you. But here's the deal. You got cited, indicted, whatever. If you got convicted, nobody cares if you didn't get arrested.

We don't do it to convert the street preachers or the holier-than-thou crowd. We do it for the lurkers -- those who might be sitting on the fence or who haven't gotten a decent science education because they went to some execrable government school. The fundies are a lost cause; that doesn't mean we surrender the next generation to them.

Thanks very much for your post....You make several interesting points to ponder...
I guess we all come to these threads, some mostly willing to just read and learn, others come to argue and discuss the issues...
I am like you, when it comes to the the religious threads...I read them, but seldom ever enter into discussion on them...and they can get every bit as nasty, as any CREVO thread...but I do enjoy reading the religious threads, to see the differences in doctrines between the different religions...
I, also am no atheist...but because I support evolution, I have been called an atheist...thats really irksome...if someone wants to believe that God created everything in just 6 24hr days, then fine, do so...but for that same person to call me an atheist just because I dont believe that very same thing, is just wrong, as I see it...but there you have it...
Glad tho, that you checked into this thread, for whatever reason, and offered your views...

If you got convicted, nobody cares if you didn't get arrested. those that don't care for facts may not care.

What am I doing in this thread, you may ask? Well, I wanted to see the information about Stromatolite fossils. I'm pretty much in the same mind set as you.
Sadly few science threads ever go past a half dozen posts before they are hijacked and turn into a brawl.
Like you I too learned several years ago to not waste my time responding to the hijackers.
This thread has now been moved to the "smoky back room." I do wonder if there had been a "science forum" in which to originally post it if it would have stayed science rather than devolve to the typical food fight.

Math, what kind of math?
How about instead, just a straight up honest yes or no answer.

"... God works in mysterious ways." Surely God does.
However, that particular phrase is usually the final argument I hear from those who can't defend what supposed to be God's own literal infallible account written in His own hand with lightning bolts.
There seems to be a convenient chasm of difference between unrevealed mystery and an infallible literal history.
You know, it seems that we can't often make a post on your forum about geology or zoology without it becoming a thread about theology.
Why do you think that happens?
To: The KG9 Kid
I don't know. Guess people like to argue.

I agree with you and I don't know 'which side you guys are on. I did not even know about this war until seeing the 'evo ping list' show up and play on the GGG and or science astronomy, etc. related threads.
And guess how much science gets done on any of the threads when 'the ping list' shows up on.., not much.
In fact on the threads the 'goat herder cretard's' do not show up on, the evos must to take on the role of one so they have something to mock and ridicule.
But I will tell you if the 'evo ping list' is a true reflection of the type persona attracted into these fields and getting the loud voice thereof, then we as a nation have some serious issues ahead to face. For 'Science' can be used as a platform of legitimacy to launch all sorts of assaults with malevolent intent.

You know, JennyP and I never post at the same time. You do the math...
Ooops, I meant to say "You know, Boxen and I never post at the same time. You do the math..."
Whatever, what does that mean? How about a straight up yes or no answer.

I see no reason to dignify your question with another response.
You continue to clutch at the rotting straws that line your foul den, seeking only non-arguments.

Okay, well you did answer one question directly, you said you were not cg. And you jennyp(?) have answered a ping that was to Boxen. Yes the screen name jennyp was there and so to was PH. Let me guess now ph will enter into it also, a little late though.
But which one of you is talking now and for which one, or both?
Just really put me in my place with a direct answer that you boxen are not jennyp, and jennyp is not boxen.

I will not give you an answer. I refuse to siphon value into your fallacious argument.
If you truly believe that Boxen is JennyP is PatrickHenry, then why do you not report me to the moderators?
