With Joe Lieberman on one side, the New York Times and Michael Schiavo on the other side, the divide grows stark as the dems redefine themselves to the left.

As Mr. Lieberman sees it, this is a fight for the soul of the Democratic Party -- his moderate fair-mindedness against a partisan radicalism that alienates most Americans. "What kind of Democratic Party are we going to have?" he asked in an interview with New York magazine. "You've got to agree 100 percent, or you're not a good Democrat?"

Panning the Coloradoan...

"Thumbs down to the Coloradoan for publishing the anti-Musgrave article, 'Schiavo campaigns for Musgrave's ouster' on the front page (July 13). I realize the Coloradoan is a liberal newspaper, but this goes too far. It deserves little or no coverage, much less front page. It serves no useful purpose except to further your own political gain. Lamont said he entered the race due to TERRI SCHIAVO. There are so many psychopaths running around loose like Lamont. Who would enter politics specifically to be for MURDER?

I'm thinkin' there's a lot of dough behind the death cultists and consider that the terripac is just a front for really, big money. It is worth consideration.
