I have seen interviews with people who were in the building. Their stories are horrifying. Water and gasoline and blood and body parts, all floating by them. It breaks your heart.
There's an amazing book about it, Refined by Fire, by Brian Birdwell, who was in the Pentagon and only about 15 to 20 yards away. Burns consumed 60 percent of his body, with almost 40 percent of them third-degree. Amazing man and story. It's an inexpensive paper back, probably about 10 bucks.
I saw that also. I remember one women story and a sweater. She used her wet sweater to help someone breath and find their way out through a window.
