Don't know how much truth there is to this, but they way I heard it was that Chris lost because he violated the AI contract. Seems he signed a contract to become some band's front man. Idol contestants can't do that contractualy until released from their AI obligations. In short, Chris was fired. Anyone else hear that?
False rumor. If he were fired, they would have simply removed him from the show.
