Yeah, they can all sing...What I mean is paid music dues, been there done that, worked very hard, sincerely understands the soul of music.

Come'on you've got to admit Taylor is not going to be some "IDOL" star, especially if he truly gets back to what he's really all about. He's a musicians, musician, to really show his talent, Taylor has got to make the most of what's in him, not what AI wants to make of him.

It really doesn't matter, they're all basically "Idols" now...These four have made if they want it.

BTW, Great pics, thanks!

That's true of anyone. Though you're right he is a musicians musician, writes his own material, plays instruments.

This was the same concern some had last year with Carrie Underwood. She's clearly Country, but they thought she would be forced to sing pop songs on her Idol album. Instead, not only did she make a Country album, it became the fastest selling debut album in Country music history.

The Idol folks aren't stupid. If Taylor wins (and even if he doesn't, he'll still probably be signed by Idol) they won't push him to sing songs he can't sing.

I agree with you that Taylor just doesn't fit the image of "American Idol. This isn't a knock on his talent, it's just that I think, for example, Taylor would be a much better show in a venue with smoke in the rafters than a 15,000 seat convention center. He seems to be much more of a performer for an intimate setting, and that doesn't really mesh with what the folks at 19E are trying to sell.
