Sony has made available clips of Chris Daughtry's new album ("Daughtry", which is the name of his band), due out later this month (11/21). Skip to
"Used To"-- which I am predicting to be a #1 hit for him off the album because it has a fabulous hook and it is pop radio friendly and about a man who is sort of begging for his relationship with his woman to be the way it was-- making it sort of a love song--(which will be popular with women listeners) and Chris sounds great on it (he sounds great on all the clips, though-- I still am dumbfounded that he didn't win Idol because he really is a natural as a recording artist). I have listened to it dozens of times already and am not the least bit tired of it, yet. It's very catchy. I can't wait to hear the whole song.
I don't hear any unicorns and rainbows songs on here, so Sony BMG knows what Chris is and what Chris is not.
Feel free to forward this link to anyone at FR you think might be interested. I stole a few names on this reply from a dfu thread. There are a lot of Chris fans I missed.

And I forgot to add that these sappy rocks songs are popular now-- judging by Hinder's success with "Lips of an Angel."

Chris is fantastic! We saw the Idols Live this summer and the best parts of the show included Chris; Chris with the other guys, Chris and Ace, etc. He is one talented man - and he's committed to his wife and kiddos.
Why did they take his live audio stuff down on Mr.Daughtry.com? I loved listening to it! Waaaaaaaaah!
