Yeah, could be. Or like someone said earlier, maybe Carrie was just nostalgic for when she was the one. Each season does seem to get more and more talented though. Makes you look forward to the next. :)
Just my opinion here, but I think nostalgia would bring a gentle, but happy smile t oher face. Not the cold stern look in that photo.
She might have just been super tired. One hour of sleep because of the awards show and then getting to AI. She might have just 'zoned out' for a few minutes.
