Why not? There are threads on FR that have been going for years. Heck, we can branch out and have music discussion. Tuesday nights can be "recommend a new artist night"!
It's been fun and a place to shed tears without feeling foolish.
I know I'll be checking in several times a day.

In the late 90s, I got interested in politics and started going to a yahoo chat "washington watch" - there you argued with democrats and republicans and actually, it was pretty fun. Once in awhile the topic would turn to music and then all of a sudden everyone was talking about their favorite musicians - not politics. It was funny how much in common we really did have.
I kind of am interested in a book club.
