Why is he choosing music for the American public?Only one answer. 'Cause he can make money at it. Sigh.

I bet he's a kerry voter..... sad that every once in a while you will still see a Kerry sticker on the back of people's cars, even in this red state. Poor pitiful fools. :)

It's a shame that talent is the last thing that is considered now.
I know. Heck, dregs like Paris Hilton are famous for NOTHING except being a skinny rich bitch. Blech!

Well that little porn video she accidentally starred in(
) also made her a household name. I would be so embarrassed if that is what it took people to know me.

suspect we will never really hear much from Elliott, so I am glad to have the music I do!I'm hoping that AI is now so big that plenty of people in show biz want a piece of it in some way. Up until now, really only the AI winner stood a solid chance at a recording career, but Kelly Clarkson's success with Breakaway seems to have opened more doors for other former Idols. Carrie's success only helps open even more doors. I think Katharine, Elliott, Chris, Pickler and Paris all have a real shot at carving out careers, if not in recording, then in other areas of show biz.

But, MarMema -- following up on my last post to you -- we still should be under no illusions as to just how shallow the show biz world is.

With that mug, he has no room to complain about how others look. Taylor is Cary Grant compared to Van Cleave.

And I agree about Katharine. She's causing me to lose any good will I may of had for her with her constant blathering.Yeah. I know she's only 22, but being polite is something she should have been taught in childhood. Too bad those weird parents of hers only focused on her singing lessons.

I am fortunate then. :) All my neighbors have republican political signs in their yards right now. :)
To: Wolfstar
Ain't that the truth! Bet Van Cleeve hasn't made too many women swoon or faint. :)
To: Wolfstar
Yes she is. I can't even stand to look at her.
To: Wolfstar
I think Elliott will be able to do a bit of this here and a bit of that there to keep food on the table and a house payment made. Much as one can get by on bit parts in acting, I would imagine.
I also think JDRF will leach him for every moment they can get and he won't be able to say no. He will probably be a great spokesperson for them.
However I think that is probably the most we will see or hear from him, and I find that to be very sad and a waste of incredible talent.
To: Netizen
He's really squirrelly looking. Got to be a Kerry voter. He just has that whineyassed look to him.
To: EmilyGeiger
Well, they didn't complain about the anti Kerry stuff I had plastered on my van so, guess we're even! lol

I have heard about it for a while. I think that one of the only good things out of Katrina.
To: EmilyGeiger
I agree he looks like a typical Kerry voter. Oh well, he just may lose his position with his obvious miscalculations. I hope Taylor makes the most out of all the idols just to show the PTB that we the american people like real down to earth TALENTED people over the pop tarts and boy bands.
To: CajunConservative
Leno asked Taylor if he believed it was fate or coincidence and Taylor said that he didn't believe in coincidences.
