I have only posted the executive summary, but please take a look at this report, which is quite complete and interesting on the economical side...

Now if you tell me this article is not credible because it was posted on a site from the MPP, please throw yourself off a bridge...Because :

"Chief among the endorsing economists are three Nobel Laureates in economics: Dr. Milton Friedman of the Hoover Institute, Dr. George Akerlof of the University of California at Berkeley, and Dr. Vernon Smith of George Mason University."

Any thoughts on it? and i apologize if it was already posted somewhere...

I have a great deal of regard for Dr. Friedman, but he's wrong here.

It is already a fact that in 1999, Americans spent some $69 billion in illegal drugs, of which 70% is estimated to have come into the US via the Mexican/US border.

I've made proposals to Congressmen and Senators advocating the construction of a continuous border barrier to stop the incursion/invasion of America. Do you realize why deaf ears are prevalent in Washington?

Take a look at your local courthouse dockett on any given week. Note the number of drug related cases and the "money" exchanged by the courts, lawyers, and all other associated "enforcement" personnel.

It's possible, less all drug and traffic related cases, many courthouse docketts would be emptied in 3-5 days out of a month.

As long as lawyers are judges and lawmakers and have control of the leadership of America, we'll have drug related problems. America's "leadership" does not want to put that "legal" sector out of business.
