My dad thought Melody was the anti-christ.

When the 80s came I started listening to WRSU (Rutgers) and Princeton (forgot the call letters) for metal, punk and weird alternative. Listened to Dr. Demento on some Jersey Shore station.

And then there was the Howard Stern. Don't know if you istened to him but he used to have a speed-punk intro from the Double-Oh Zeros called This Is The Howard Stern Show. Funny stuff. Good times.

PS - I never listened to Stern, really.

Re: the self-destructing talker, it may have been on WHN, 1050 at the time.
