It is only those proclaiming their homosexual preference that make public the issue. It is and was always an Easter egg roll NEVER a homosexual pride festival. There is nothing wrong with opposing the perversion of the event so why attempt to moral relatively argue the case against opposition?

So you don't have a problem with gay parents bringing their children as long as they don't mention anything political? That's fair enough - and it should apply to straights too. Parents shouldn't be using this as a forum to to talk about their sexual preferences, to talk about their opinions on the Iraq war or anything else not related to kids having a good time with an Easter Egg roll.

I do not see a problem with anybody bringing children.

As far as "That's fair enough - and it should apply to straights too." I would term the "straights" to be normal heterosexuals and the "gays" to be abnormal heterosexuals -- Regardless, I have seen no news stories recent or past involving "straights" championing some cause using the egg roll as springboard...
