You are right, if in fact you are trying to say that the Fair Tax is not a cut in spending plan, it is revenue neutral.

We the People must take back the power FIRST and make taxes visible/in every American's face and then we can address spending..b/c until most of the sheople feel taxes there will be no cuts...that is reality. I am not for big government, I am a realist.

If you know of a plan that would eliminate taxes, fund the armed services and eliminate entitlements and pork I would love to hear it...You say that I favor big government...what are you doing to make changes?..... Again, I ask you...what is your plan? Because this idea of just go along with the income tax while bitching/name calling thing ain't working.

We the People

Apparently, "we the people" overwhelmingly desire welfare, social security, drug benefits and all manner of socialist handouts. So by your reasoning, you too are a socialist, since you're one of "we the people".

In reality, there's no such thing as "we the people". There are individuals. Many want the government to act as their agent, stealing resources at gunpoint from other, unwilling individuals. Which is one reason I don't vote: I don't want you pretending that a vote for Bush means I want to take his "prescription butter benefit" up the tailpipe.
