there are plenty of people on the ID list that difer in their views about creation/evo

its not so monochromatic

The differences are more critical than the few commonalities. Evos in making their points do not have to distort or falsify what science actually says. Their position is that science is being done approximately right, and any improvements in science education should be toward doing a better job of portraying what science has learned already.

If only that were true of creationists and their secret agents, the IDers. You look at the planks of ID and every argument has been rebutted to death. All ID has is to keep coming back with the same misstatements and fallacies, hoping to someday shout down the rebuttals.

The worst thing about ID isn't that it's wrong, but that it's an endlessly repeated catalog of "misstatements." (Ah, the kinder, gentler FR.)
