You're quoting me out of context, of course. Had you bothered to read any of my previous posts on this issue, you'll see that my arguments against state sanction of things such as gambling, mind-altering drug use, prostitution, et al have been carefully reasoned, based on fact, historical example, and--to an extent--personal experience. My religious views inform my opinions, to be sure, but don't dictate the course of my thinking.
