It isn't just small companies by any means.

I never said "just" small companies. I said "mostly" small companies.

They found a way around the horrific minimum wage and regulatory laws which were unfairly keeping them back; they found a way to stay in business.

Socialism always wreaks havoc. I believe if these heavily socialistic laws weren't in place, we wouldn't be in this mess because there would be no incentive to hire Mexicans.

Right. A pack of criminals broke the law because it was in their financial interest to do so. Let's extend that line of reasoning to bank-robbers and muggers also, shall we? A criminal is a criminal. Rewarding criminals just produces more crime. Period. Take away the economic benefits to be gained by breaking the law, and the employers will quit hiring illegals, and the illegals self-deport. Rule-of-law wins out and the day is saved for America. Ignore the rule of law, and reward mob rules, and you'll get more of the same.
