right on John! I am in agreement. I had a young boy pull my ponytail in gradeschool, it was a flirt, and I enjoyed it. Thanks for reminding me (good memory). However, we don't know how hard someone pulled the hypothetical little girl's ponytail in question, or if it was malicious or not. My grandchildren are now in private school so they aren't faced with unkind, unwanted, malicious conduct, because conduct has run amuck in public school. So, it all depends on the circumstance. I didn't go running to Mama, or the teacher that Johnny pulled my hair, but again, it was just a flirt from a really cute boy.. Where do we go from here? But your "big picture" perspective is right on.
