So we are stuck with creeping statism of one brand or the other. What will we be stuck with? Communism, Fascism, Paternalism, Corporatism, Socialism..... It doesn't matter what form it takes. The elites of all stripes have decided to destroy the middle class.
One of Orwell's characters said to another,"You want to see the future? The future is a boot stepping on a face, for all eternity."
I don't think we're that far gone yet. We need someone who is from a the Middle Class, who actually knows what a gallon of milk or a gasoline costs. With our current system, we just keep winding up with people who don't have any real clue what's going on outside of politics.
I know longer have faith that either party will do what's right. They will do the politically or financially expedient.
Bush said he wanted to know why a middle eastern company be treated differently than a British company. He of all people should be able to answer his own question hear.
