Because in Establishment Republican minds, making money trumps all else.
Including national security.
How Clintonian.
Including national security.
How Clintonian.
How utterly stupid of a thought / comment - The reality is ...if you are so ill-informed to think that by simply "owning" these said ports the UAE could increase the risk to our national security......you only prove you don't have a clue.
There is so much more to it then simply that. Who owns it.
By the way, how many ports to American companies own and run???....(zero!). Should we force U.S. companies to start up and get in this business?
"Port security" is nothing more then a smoke screen to hype to the uninformed and 10-second attentioned spanned American public.
You're right.
Unfortunately.
I'm afraid you are right. I reluctantly came to the same conclusion about two years ago. That was about the time that the "rehabilitation" of the Xlintons went full-steam ahead.
And they continue. Sandy Hamburglar got off with a slap on the wrist, and countless other actions have tarnished the administration.
Maybe this is part of an under the table deal with the Saudis and surrounding nations for our continuted military access in the ME.
It's just the millineum way of getting around a Treaty that the Senate would have to approve?
Your post proves just how ill-informed you are about who actually is in charge of port security.
