The issue raised by our friend onyx here is whether a conservative can support reparations. My response was that, yes, Ronald Reagan is still a conservative.

By the way, Reagan's reparations went also to descendants of the Japanese Americans interned during WWII, not just those still living. Does that make him "unconservative"?

I'd like to see some evidence of that. My understanding is that they went only to living survivors of camps, which included children.
