This isn't about bigotry or security or foreign affairs anymore, Howlin. It is about the fact that two prime members of CIFUS are Snow and Sanborn, both of whom stand to profit from this deal given their prior employment by CSX and the previous sale to P&O.
This is about corruption and it is about arrogance of power and if the President doesn't fire these crooks and his staff then he needs to go.
The public will demand it. He cannot stomp his feet any more. He lacks support. He is either in a terrible bout of denial and/or in a dry drunk or he is actually drunk with more than power.
I pray for him but he must act or he will be finished.
The public can "demand" all they want - what will be the grounds for a Bill of Impeachment (recall "Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors").
