Palladin, no matter how you feel about Dave, I think you've misjudged his motives. Notice the last line of that article..."The money will be used to help in the search for Natalee Holloway."
I don't call that "trying to cash in on his daughter's disappearance." I see it as just another way to help look for his missing daughter. I do not doubt his highest desire is to find his daughter, even if it means digging in a landfill or writing a book.
I agree with you RGVTx. I don't doubt Dave's motives at all. He's a kind and gentle man who is looking for answers. He more than gave Aruba the benefit of the doubt for the longest time of any of them. I believe that he has every right to expose the horrific corruption that he has seen surrounding his daughter's case and the mental torture that they have been and still are being, put through. I sincerely believe he would not produce a book to profit for himself. He wants, just like Beth, to bring Natalee's body home, and put her to rest.
I'm with you! I think Dave Halloway is a man of honor, who's heart has almost been torn out - I think he's done everything possible to bring his girl home. I just hope at some point he's able to.
