Correction: That should have read, "I'm sure that some of the students did not know that morning that she was missing. None of the students knew that she had been murdered and completely disposed of."
Hi friend. I'm kind of disappointed that we only got a Minority last night. However, the Liberals did get thrown out of office and Harper made astounding inroads in Quebec. I'm disappointed in my own Province of B.C. - My area and the rest of the Province went Conservative EXCEPT the City of Vancouver. All the major cities went Liberal and NDP. However, for the FIRST time EVER, we got a Prime Minister from the West. Alberta threw out the ONE Liberal member they had they went 100% Conservative. Is it any wonder Alberta is the richest Province and most successful in every area and has the lowest taxes? There are no Provincial Income Taxes in Alberta and still they have BILLIONS in surpluses. People are just plain blind. I pray that Stephen is able to work with this dog's breakfast he's been handed. At least he's in. And he will be a friend to America and we can again have a good relationship with our best ally.
As to Natalee and Dave etc. I also hope they KEEP MENTIONING the places that appear to be OFF LIMITS for searches. They need to make a big deal of it. I see that the beaches are still as empty as ever. Aruba's tourist industry is clearly dead as a door nail!!
I know Survivor. This guy is just dispicable. The Alabama teens had NOTHING whatsoever to do with Natalee's disappearance. They were all piling in taxi's at closing time and Natalee thought she was getting in one also. Since Urine VDS LIED and said he was an exchange student and also staying at the Holiday Inn, why would she not take the same "taxi" back to the Hotel with him??? What she didn't know was that Joran had arranged the Kalpoe taxi and she was probably just coming to know that she had been drugged by the time she got into the car. This is nothing but a DISGRACEFUL DIVERSION - AGAIN!!
when it comes to haley barbour, i'll bet a dollar against 100 that a strong letter writing campaign thumping him for not joining in the boycott over the death of an american citizen traveling overseas will cause a quick change of face...he's deservedly over the grill anyway on other issues, and this one can win votes for him with no bucks or problems; its an easy and popular move...but he HAS to be told that votes are on the line, and by more than just one or two people (my own letter went out today) and that he needs to wake up and realize that even with the Hurricane Katrina damage, his constituents are interested in this issue and can prove it next time around the poll booth...we might be without homes, but the Holloways are without a daughter
Congratulations! the minority part is a bummer. He'll have to wine and dine to get the job done. First time ever is quite an accomplishment. Now you know how I felt when we got rid of slick willy. ;)
Good point nuntuk. I think your right. There needs to be a significant amount of letters but they WILL work. These guys only care really about keeping their snouts in the public trough. The thought of losing that gets action every time. Besides, Dave Holloway is one of his States residents. He shouldn't even HAVE to be subjected to a letter writing campaign to do the right thing!!
Surely Odeber is kidding right? IF mistakes were made?? I hope this case is beginning to chap his A$$ but good.
Stephen will do a good job. But he's surrounded by pitbulls. The one good thing about it is that the BQ absolutely HATE the Liberals and together with the conservatives they can pass legislation without any liberal and NDP support. The only thing is is that the BQ are socially too left for me. By the time another election comes around, I think Stephen should be able to get a majority. Many Ontario suburbs that went liberal only went liberal by a squeaker. A little more work in those areas should garner a lot more seats.
Exciting time for Canadians. Is Stephen a social conservative, also? Gee, I'm on first name basis w/your PM! Time to change your tagline!
Yes he is!! He'll have to take it slow on the issues but has stated that one of the first things he'll do is call for a free vote on same sex marriage. The other parties are fairly lefty except it's a fact that 31 Liberals did NOT want to vote for same sex marriage. Combine that with 124 Conservatives and it "may" get overturned. I haven't done the exact math.
wow. sounds like any large US city.
Thanks for that excellent summary. Is it true that ALE is coming to Alabama to interview students?
ALE will be in birmingham up to 10 days according to their own itinerary...i doubt if they have enough questions for 10 minutes

Here's an interesting article, notice they're careful not to mention exactly where in the Western Caribbean this operation took place:
Gettysburg Seizes Narcotics During Western Caribbean Operations
Navy NewsStand ^ | Jan 24, 2006 | Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command Public Affairs
(Excerpted)
The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 1.5 tons of cocaine and eight suspected drug traffickers. After boarding and thoroughly searching the vessel, Gettysburg discovered and seized 50 bales of narcotics.
Following the seizure, the narcotics and suspected drug traffickers were transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard cutter USCGC Tornado (WPC 14) for further disposition to U.S. authorities.

The very mention that the other students left before they could be questioned only serves to reinforce what we already believe. Nothing more than smear tactics. The lies never end.
Cohen was hired to follow the Aruban party line on this case. He obviously stepped out of line when he said the OM believes the three boys caused Natalee's disappearance. He got smacked down for that. But why would he broadcast something the OM never said, and not once but twice?
Ummmm.
Has anyone figured out what that means? My understanding is that while some things are safe to say in Aruba, among themselves, they must keep Americans in the dark. In other words, spin the facts to Americans.
we, specifically us, all of us from beth holloway and the immediate family to someone who has just skimmed headlines but remains sympathetic to the cause of not letting this crime go without arrests, have insisted from the start on the basic investigative tool of Truth, so one must speak it when communicating with us, the Americans...one thing i have learned waaay beyond what i knew to be the case, Arubans love a good lie...lies have permeated their entire cultural structure to the point that they operate on the spin rather than the road of truthful thinking...kalpoe's mom stated it bluntly; even more evidence of it is that the police live by pretending efficiency and ability, as does nearly everyone else on this island--i've read nothing at all, not one word, about paulus as far as education goes, but he gets judgeship appointments and apparently can be an attorney by just filling out an app, in their minds this beats the heck out of our system of actually qualifying through schooling and training rather than finagling oneself into position for a worthy vocation...joran goes off to school with statements like he'll finally tell what really happened (sure he will) after he is assured it won't result in any additional jail experience...90% of the investigative activity has been run on lies, like racing to faraway islands where natalee has just reportedly been seen, or pouring great energy into letters she has written paulus, her favorite person to communicate with while hiding out and having babies...so if one has to address both groups with one talk it is impossible to speak to americans and arubans at the same time, which is what the babbling head, steve cohen, meant when he made the statement
in Aruba, if a man on the beach caught a minnow with his hands, and said he had just wrestled a six foot shark ashore, local Aruban witnesses wouldn't leave telling how Pablum the fisherman caught a minnow he thought was a shark, but that they had all witnessed the capture of a shark by a brave Aruban with his bare hands in broad daylight, so who could dispute it? just read Diario because the National Enquirer obviously trained all the Aruban reporters...nobody there can be trusted to ever be telling one word that is truthful, not even a whisper, it doesn't matter if they are Prime Minister or Pablum the fisherman, and that especially goes for Josey Mansur--we've heard more lies from him than from any other individuals other than the culprits themselves, and it is obvious he thinks he is reporting rather than lying
if someone reported seeing a flying saucer pick natalee up off the beach after joran had left her there (so he could get home and insure his reputation of being a responsible student would remain intact, just like any teenage guy would do who was out with a beautiful drunk girl, alone on an island) josey mansur would appear that night on every talk show to tell us the saucer story with a straight face and to emphasize that he had a Diario reporter following the saucer even as he told us the tale
