But what is interesting on the religious threads on FR, is that you will have one poster who belongs to one religion telling another poster who belongs to another religion tell one another, not only are they wrong about their own interpretations of Biblical passages, they are also not even 'Christians'...imagine that...self professed Christians telling other self professed Christians of another religion that they dont even qualify as being a Christian...its gets to mixed up and circular after a while, that one can hardly tell the players without signs on their backs denoting what religion they approve of and what religion they disapprove of...its a mess...

So, when you read things like that you realize its no wonder Christianity is fragmented...evolution has nothing at all to do with it...its all the various 'Christian religions', making the claim, that they are the one and only road to salvation, that have fragmented Christianity..

Exactly. It is so-called Christians who distort the Word of God (the Bible) for their own purposes who fragement the faith.

The Bible is clear for all those who are really interested in what God has to say.

Evolution is a lie just as the claim God sanctions homosexuality is a lie.
The is absolutely NOTHING in the Bible to support either of these.

My sister's mother-in-law and sister-in-law think that my whole family is going to Hell because we are Catholic (If they only knew where I stood... :). Even my 6 year old niece. They say we aren't Christians. I bet they also think we have guns stored under the house so we can take over the country. Funniest thing is the sister-in-law thinks she is so educated about the Bible, yet she thought that King James actually wrote it in Hebrew and lived in the time of Jesus and was Jewish. She also never heard of Martin Luther. Knowledge can be VERY selective. (Scary thing:her two kids are being home schooled.)

I would say most Protestant denominations have no problem with Catholics, and most Catholics have no trouble with Protestants. It's just the very vocal minority that make things, um, interesting.
