How sad several FReepers have opined on this thread that he wasn't beaten enough. You remind me of CAIR; when Islamic terrorists commit some new outrage, they're more concerned that people not associate it with Islam, than doping anything about their co-religionists who are busy cheering the terrorists on.
I guess fundies are fundies though, and the specific details of the deity are unimportant.
Perhaps they'd be happier in the Middle East
doing.
(Or maybe not.)
Is it any different than what normally happens here? A creationist says that slavery is perfectly moral, and no other creationist comes forth to say he is an idiot. Instead we get attacked for calling him out on it. Then another creationist posts a racist quote from a banned author on his homepage; and no creationist attacks the quote but instead whine's about US picking on the poor guy. Now there is a story of an evolutionist getting beat up and when some creationists cheer the attack, the others whine about the association of Creationism and violence. Never condemning those doing the cheering.
I think the pattern is obvious, and telling.
