"Your pale horse needs some sunlight. Christ said there would be many coming in His name, professing Him, but he never knew them. Reason why I pointed to the BOOK as the definition of what is acceptable and what is NOT."
Oh, I get it! You and your fellows never sin in any way at all.
Is this another liberal hoax? Now if he had insulted Muslims, we wouldn't have to wonder if there was actually an attack. The sheriff would have had to pick up the professor's head at the side of the road.
Just something to keep in mind regarding license plates - Kansas only uses a rear license plate, which he would not have been able to see until the alleged perps were driving away.
Frankly, though, this whole thing smells to me, too - and I live in the area.

NOT even worth the time to respond, get some sunlight.
It gets him on the front page so his rants and hate of Christians will reach more people.

Mirecki said in a phone interview that the incident happened as he was going out for breakfast, taking a drive and thinking about things. He declined to say exactly where it happened, and the sheriffs department did not release the location, except to say it was south of Lawrence.
Mirecki said that when the pickup truck began tailgating him, he stopped his vehicle hoping it would pass. Instead, the men pulled up directly behind him, he said.
They got out, and I made the mistake of getting out, he said.
Mirecki said the beating began almost instantly. The men punched him about the head and shoulders and struck him with a metal object, he said.

The sheriffs office is classifying the case as an aggravated battery. On Monday afternoon, the office asked for the publics help finding the suspects. Mirecki described them as two white males between the ages of 30 and 40, one wearing a red visor and wool gloves and both wearing jeans.

The information that we have is pretty basic, Lt. Kari Wempe said. Our investigators are working on it right now.

When told that some people were questioning the truth of his report, Mirecki fired back.
The right wing wants blood, period. Theyre not going to stop until they see blood. Theyre not into anything else, he said. Whatever I do, whatever I say, they dont believe anything because thats the way they are... I know what happened. I got the hell beat out of me. They can say what they want.

And if it turns out to be true? Are you going to retract your comments?
What does not make sense is his getting out of the car in what might have been a confrontation with two men. He is either lying or REALLY stupid.

They could've played friendly:
"Hey, buddy, there's something hanging off the back of your car, have a look."
With all the hate mail and threats he's gotten, if that's the way it went down, my vote is for REALLY stupid.
"With all the hate mail and threats he's gotten, if that's the way it went down, my vote is for REALLY stupid."
I know in my heart that most people mean well, even if my cynicism gets the better of me. And Kansas is mostly made up of good people.
If threats and hate mail get one to live in fear of every person they meet, then the threats accomplished their intended goal.
Looks like he may have gotten unlucky.
Cause and effect. "Nature" takes it's course.
Go to the link and read way down to where someone expresses doubt that his story is true.
Let's hope that the cops catch the guys who did it and that they go down for a long stretch.
If he has faked it then let's hope that the cops work it out, prove it, and he goes down for a long stretch.
I wonder if that is a pair of sentiments that every Freeper can go along with.
I think the idea expressed is that he is lying, and the clues are coming from the article...
yup , my first thought["what,no license plate#?"] , and now we're quite sure he wasn't badly injured
