What does any of this have to do with involuntarily losing one's license. Board certification is a nice credential and is required to practice an many hospitals, but lacking it has nothing to do with having a medical license, and it has nothing to do with losing a lawsuit.

It did in this case. He sued for libel and lost. Plus he is an admitted failure in his field. I really doubt he was used as an expert in his field of psychiatry(in which by his failure gives evidence of his non-expertise) but in a field apart from his training. And let me remind you aspirin's origins are from "herbal teas" not a drug company's labs.
