What are these colleges doing concerning themselves with high school curriculum specifics and text books?
My son was homeschooled. We typed up his transcript ourselves, which the University of Missouri knew. It listed only subjects taken, no specifics and no grades (except for three classes he had taken online through the University of Missouri). He did well on his ACT (27) and was admitted without any problems. He graduated from Mizzou last spring.

It's not "these colleges". It's the University of California (that should tell you everything). The University of Missouri is apparently not as "progressive" as their left coast counterpart. Boy, those Californians sure are trend setters (and yes, I'm being sarcastic). Congrats to your son and to you for home schooling.
