have the missing beach bums been mentioned before? Are they arubans? Are they tourists who stick around? What are there names? Who has the report that they are missing? Has anyone interviewed their 'boss'? (Shebacal - not really expecting you to know the answers - would be great if you did, but just curious)

They have been mentined as working in local surfshop. I don't remember much about it, but will see what I can find. I remember thinking it was more than a coincidence that they disappeared at the same time as Natalee.

So far I've found these references to the beach bums, mentioned on RWV on July 17, 2005:
We need to know about the two beach bums that worked at a surf shop. I read it was near one of the hotels, which one?
Who were the beach bums?
Were they American, Dutch, Aruban or other?
If they were employed there must be some sort of record. How long did they work there?
Did Natalee have any contact with them?
Did she or classmates visit the surf shop?
Why did the beach bums disappear the same day as Natalee?
