Very rough notes from Greta's interview with Beth tonight:
Have statements...Jannsen selected the few statements for Beth's attorney to translate for her. Realized later there were more statements when new info began to come out.
June 9th Joran statement...describing the night prior to leaving CnC..bought NH 151 rum shots...left and took NH to lighthouse...admits sexual acts in back seat of Deepak's car...while NH going in and out of consciousness...all ends at the beach...Joran saying NH fell asleep...later changes to drop off at HI...Beth feels NH was killed at the point where Joran changes his story from NH sleeping on beach to dropping off at HI. Beth didn't put some things together until later, after some further translations and comparisons of statements.
Next up...did Joran rat out his father...what did he tell the police?
Joran interrogated last summer repeatedly...June 10th...Joran talks about drinking...different from first statement...no sexual assaults...what a drinker he is...bragging about his drinking...how much he could drink and not get drunk and bragging about himself...statement was mostly about him.
Re Joran's past therapy: Anita expressed concerns of Joran running the household..no rules adhered to...in one statement Joran says his father gave him advice not to talk on cell phones...don't use email...then get your story straight...use emails to establish story...
Thinks KJ was giving least incriminating statements to Beth...do know in some way she(KJ) purposely controlled which statements we had access to...if had seen June 13th statement would have known then how bad it was...June 13th statement was in Dutch when Beth obtained it.
An added note to Greta's show with Beth...I think the June 13th statement is the source of Joran's statements about his father giving advice of how to cover up their tracks with getting their story straight and using computers, etc., to establish their false story.
