Beth Twitty appeared on Greta tonight to discuss a diary she has been keeping about the Natalee Holloway investigation. Information from when Natalee went missing to now is all in the diary with a lot of detail. Beth describes the notebook on the show.

Something I missed on Greta, but picked up on SM:
The June 13th statement by Joran was the one blaming Deepak. Saying Deepak dropped Joran off then took Natalee and raped and killed her.

That is Joran's third version of what happend after leaving the lighthouse, according to my calculations. I think Beth is right on the money thinking Natalee was killed after the lighthouse. This is the point where Joran has changed his story at least 3 times.

1) left Natalee sleeping on the beach
2) Natalee was dropped off at the HI by all three suspects.
3) Natalee was taken by Deepak, raped and murdered

Joran claims it takes 30 to 40 beers to get him drunk.

You heard it corrently. An amazing amount of booze. It must have happened often.

If there is any truth to Joran's claims of drinking heavily before getting drunk, then there is only one way I can think of that he could have remained somewhat sober after drinking so much...cocaine. He would be 'loaded' but probably would not think so under the influence of cocaine. Cocaine can enable users to drink more than usual without passing out or becoming drunkenly disabled.

Cocaine use would also explain Joran's "running the household" and out of control/violent behavior. It would also explain Joran's ability to party most of the night and still make it to school the next day.

Sheba, speaking of PVDS, I read that his arrest in Aruba was carried on live TV in the Netherlands. None of the other arrests were shown on live TV in the Netherlands.
It is interesting that his arrest drew so much attention in his motherland.

I have now changed my mind. I do not think Joran killed Natalee. Apparently he was not drinking or drugs, but being a gambler myself as he was, you do not find any gamblers that would kill anybody. They always live in hope. I think he may have walked off and left her at the beach and lied as he knew he should not have done this, but young people do not think anything ever happens to them. I think somebody was watching or she may have sat down on the sand near the hotel and an opportunist came along and took advantage of her. I do not think the police think Joran is guilty. They are trained in this sort of thing. What about the gardener that was out roaming around at that hour and said he saw her? I don't know about the Kalpoes, but looking at that Joran I do not think he is guilty.
All the best for the New Year and lets hope the murders are down as I think you had enough by the end of the year!

This is some old news, but I'm posting it because Art Wood suggests that the FBI could still extradite the suspects to the US.
