For the second time in three months, a security breach has shut down the marketing website used to promote the Firefox browser. Late Monday, members of the Spread Firefox community were notified that their Spread Firefox site had been hit by attackers looking to exploit a bug in the TWiki collaboration software, which had been running on the server.
The Mozilla Foundation does not believe that any sensitive information was compromised in the attack, but it is encouraging the approximately 100,000 Spread Firefox members to reset their passwords. "With these things it's hard to determine the exact nature of what happened," said Mike Schroepfer, director of engineering with the Foundation's Mozilla subsidiary.

I mean gee let's see here, I was only hired by General Dynamics to be a System Admin. I only have an MCP. I only went to Iraq (to make big $$$ too) to do this stuff. I specialize in Windows Desktops, but being that it is the Air Force, they have relatively separate shops that specialize is certain areas.
But they wouldn't know. They don't work on big networks. Otherwise they would HATE Microsoft. :)
Yep they are ASSumpters
LOL
I invented a word for Golden Turkey and Hack0002
Funnier still is how they claim to know about all things related to computers, but they constantly step on their own tails when they try to talk security, crypto, networking, you name it.
And the worst part? They have no accomplishments to their name on the subject. They've written no papers, gave no keynote presentations, authored no books (or chapters of books) on the subjects, created no utilities, nothing. But by-gosh-and-by-golly they sure think they know it all cold!
The hilarious part is that they honestly can't grasp how far out of their depth they truly are...and they just keep swinging away blindly, hoping in vain that they'll land a hit on something other than their own chin. Hehehehe!
yep but let's remember they know ALL!!!!!
Bow Down to the power of the MyYOURsoft Shill!!
LOL

the U.S. Air Force has entered into a multi-year agreement with Microsoft that could bring the software maker more than US$500 million in revenues over a six-year period.
Microsoft will provide core server software, maintenance and upgrade support, while Dell will supply more than 525,000 Microsoft desktop Windows and Office software licenses for the Air Force.
Part of the service's One Air Force, One Network initiative, the agreement is intended to simplify the acquisition process while meeting demands for stringent enterprisewide cybersecurity requirements, timely distribution of software updates and enterprise configuration management.
Ever since the Institute of Internal Auditors Research Foundation (IIA) report titled "PC Management Best Practices: A Study of the Total Cost of Ownership, Risk, Security, and Audit" was released in September, Microsoft has been poised to gain the momentum that Linux was seeking in the public sector market.
"This Air Force contract validates Microsoft's argument that when everything is taken into account, Windows is actually more secure than its open-source counterparts"
You know, they had a Linux fest in Columbus this past weekend.
I should have gone. Instead I went paintballing and then went to watch some college football :)
Notre Dame kicked the living crap out of Purdue....
Funny how WE have Gateways replacing Dells and are in the process of migrating to Solaris....

Check this out, not only is this dude lacking any permissions on "his network", he's not even in Iraq! Jeez what a fraud!
Sure you are, MikieInOhio, ROFL.
*ROTFLOL* Indeed...they've been smoking what they're selling for far too long. Hehehehehe!
