Yes, but "Gelatin knit a leg!" I mean, that's reaching.

I suspect he would assume you should be the one to use the litter-box, leaving him free to use the toilet (simply so he wouldn't have to use the same 'spot' you do).

Which would be quite unacceptable when company comes. OK, that doesn't happen much now that the house reeks of cat crap.

It's a 13-yo cat. I'm thinking "bullet."

If I stuffed and mounted him just the right way, he wouldn't look much different than he mostly does now and would be extremely low maintenance.

I'm not sure suicide would help you much. Granted you wouldn't have to smell the cat-crap, but you would also miss the smell of roses. Apparently there isn't enough room in a casket to even read a good book so you might want to doublethink the gun bit (unless you are dying of boredom down there and need to put yourself out of our misery).

Good one!
OK. Things are hanging by a thread here, but I'll extend the cooling off period another year.

Regularity would imply a Regulator. Somewhat a different job description from Designer and the career would be longer.

"Regularity would imply a Regulator."
No it doesn't. It just means that there are patterns and predictable processes in nature. It implies no Regulator or Designer. There may be a Regulator or a Designer, but without knowledge of them or of their capabilities there is no way to tell.

Paley proved a Watchmaker. He needed to prove a Watchwinder and Watchsetter [could be the same entity] to keep the watch wound up and to reset it now and then to railroad time.

patterns and predictable processes in nature Patterns are created by the mind. Processes are created by the mind. Nature has none of these things.

Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns arent lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

Patterns are created by the mind. Processes are created by the mind. Are there no patterns until the mind recognizes such? This is "tree falls in a forest" semantics. Here's what quartz crystals look like if they form slowly enough in a non-disruptive environment.
This can be understood in terms of chemical bonds and the shapes of molecules. Thus, we know it isn't an illusion of just one or two people's minds. There's an underlying pattern out there in nature. If you're saying the pattern is just the thing in someone's mind, you're using a unique definition of "pattern."

"Paley proved a Watchmaker."
Paley TRIED to prove a Watchmaker. There's a difference. He failed.
" Patterns are created by the mind. Processes are created by the mind. Nature has none of these things."
No, the world has patterns and processes whether there is an intelligence to understand them. The world is what it is whether we know it or not.

Dorothy Parker Quotes. F'rinstance:
I require only three things of a man. He must be handsome, ruthless and stupid. Take care of luxuries and the necessities will take care of themselves.
It serves me right for keeping all my eggs in one bastard.
