Social Darwinism is ridiculous anyway. The name of the game among social animals like human beings is cooperation and friendly competition; not 'nature red in tooth and claw'. There is obviously a reproductive advantage in getting along with people, I haven't seen too many successfully reproducing brutes who use physical force to dominate all those around them among humans. Elephant seals, yes. Human beings, no.
