"Hitler on signing the Nazi-Vatican Concordat, April 26, 1933: "Secular schools can never be tolerated because such schools have no religious instruction, and a general moral instruction without religious foundation is built on air; consequently all character training and religion must be derived from faith . . ."
That quotation is more than a little scary, Mylo...

Scary but true. A LOT of things about Hitler are pretty scary, he was one f'd up whack job. However he was not a "right winger" he was a Socialist. He was not an atheist, he PUBLICLY condemned atheism and arrested them. He was not a good Christian (OBVIOUSLY), but considered himself a Catholic, the faith he was born and baptized into.
And it is a historic FACT that he used Christian rhetoric to inflame Christian sentiment against Jews. Maybe it was just expediency, and he SECRETLY wasn't a Christian; but the Nazi's killed the Jews based upon his lunatic ravings about them being the killers of Christ, the money changers in the Temple, and the conspiracy that kept the German people stupid enough to elect Hitler.
