What nightmare would that be? Having to pay reasonable wages to get a deck built?

I'm about as individual liberties oriented as you'll find around here, and I have no problem with National Guard troops and Hellfire-equipped Predator drones being used to secure our borders from invasion. If it were only day laborers crossing the border, I'd look to civilian law enforcement to handle the problem. The fact that we're in the middle of a war tells me that securing the perimeter might not be a bad idea.
