A good rule of thumb: when the posts start becoming personal attacks and leave the realm of the subject at hand, best solution is to stop posting to the flamer. I know it's hard to do, but it saves a forum from becoming a personal grudge match and allows the discussion to move forward.
Thanks for your advice on how to keep the forum from becoming full of personal attacks. I don't post very much, but read as often as I can. I am especially interested in this case because Natalee's father is from Meridian, Mississippi and I know several of his friends.
