Toddster, I really appreciate your graphs and charts showing a rosy economic picture here. But if things are so solid, why did the Pubbies push through a overhaul of the bankruptcy laws, that benefited only big lenders vs. Americans. What do they see on the horizon that is so bad they whored themselves to this extent?

overhaul of the bankruptcy laws, that benefited only big lenders vs. Americans. When "big lenders" have to mark up their goods and credit card and other interest rates to offset losses from bankruptcy filers, that means AMERICANS like you and me pay more for goods and services.
The only ones stung in a bankruptcy filing are not "big lenders." There are many small business owners and small retired landlords who get stung with uncollectable bills.
And since when is it good for Americans to not learn to be careful with their borrowing, especially the free for fall use of credit cards? Responsibility and accountability are not good values for Americans???
