People like you,who don't know anything about how the government works, the enumerated powers of each branch and specifically those of a president, but are demanding that he act like a benevolent dictator, and fulfill YOUR desires, immediately, really need to get a grip.

WHERE WERE YOU, 10,20,30,40,50 YEARS AGO, WHEN THE SAME PROBLEMS EXISTED?

I am NOT an "open border idiot" and if anyone here is an idiot, it is you.

I believe in the rule of law and am against the breaking of any law.

But the only way you and your ilk seem to be able to try to make a point, is by calling other people names and claiming that they are something they are not. If others aren't foaming at the mouth and screaming your one note, then, or course, they must, must, must be for open borders, right? WRONG!

I am not sure. But I remember water fountains for colored and whites. I remember reastrooms for whites and coloreds.

Heck, I remember trash wagons pulled by two horses and ice wagons pulled by one. :)

Tell me exactly what Bush has even tried to do that would help solve our illegal immigration problem? People like you pretend there is no way to solve the problem. You like to make excuses for why other people's ideas won't work but you never have any ideas of your own.

I know the president is not the only one who is responsible for securing our borders. But with a republican congress which he has considerable influence over he could solve this problem. Tell me what Bush has done or even tried to do that could be helpful in solving our illegal immigration crisis? Has congress stopped him from doing something that would have helped this problem? No. In the past Bush has forced republicans in congress to remove things from legislation that might have helped.

I know that past presidents and congressmen are also to blame. But Bush is currently the president. He's the most powerful man in the U.S. and he hasn't shown any interest at all in stopping illegal immigration. I know the powers of the president of the United States. Bush did everything he could to get CAFTA the votes it needed to pass. Do you think he will support the Cornyn-Kyl bill? No. He will probably support Ted Kennedy's bill unless he thinks it's to tough on illegals.
