A massive conventional response may be more appropriate. I have no problem with that. However, the threat of using our massive nuclear arsenal could serve as a deterrant, don't you think?

To reasonable people, you bet! It sure would with me! It also worked with the Soviets.
But what about OBL and his ilk? I can't imagine their reaction. I certainly hope it would make them think twice.
