Bodies (or body parts) have a tendency to reappear unless some care is taken in disposing of them (as Scott Peterson discovered), and if Ms. Holloway was killed, whoever did it had relatively little time to digest the fact of the crime, and dispose of any evidence. "Stonewalling", as it implies guilt, seems a bad strategy unless one is certain that there will be no usable forensic evidence- otherwise, the best course would seem to be to spin the death as the accidental result of consensual sex or drugs (or swimming, for that matter).

We honestly do not know when they got rid of the body. It may have been in the early morning, but then it may have been PvdS did it after Joran went to school that morning.
What is important to note is that they had an alibi ready prior to Natalee being reported missing.
