As I've said before, there is NO INNOCENT explanation for the elder VDS stating that "no body, no case".

No, there isn't, is there? Unless they were the ones who DISAPPEARED HER, they should not have known she was gone until the Holloways came over. And at that point, they should have wondered where she was, themselves.

If they have no idea if Natalee is dead or alive, Paulus would not give them "legal" advice about not having a body. They would have no way of knowing if there were a body or not, or a case or not.

I've forgotten.  Where did this factoid originally come from? (Paul vdS telling the boys "no body, no case")

Didn't Paul vds tell the police himself that he gave the boys that advice? That's how I remember it, anyway.  But if that's true, why would he be so stupid to admit he told the boys that?  I mean, that's beyond stupid, especially coming from a judge-in-training.  Doesn't make sense.
