I think the point was there that it may be that Natalie was somehow pulled into the Kalpoe';s car at the last minute or that she thought she was getting into a taxi.

If Natalee were pulled UNWITTINGLY into a car, she would have been frantically upset. I thought she yelled Aruba Aruba! out the car window. I think she knew what she was doing when she got into the car. The Kalpoes would have definitely been involved in her murder and kidnapping if they kept driving.

Joran and his friends arrived at the club shortly before it closed. Then she told one of her MB friends she was going to the hotel by taxi.
