It was said earlier that Natalee didn't always stay in her room at night. She liked so many that she would go from room to room and stay with different people.
I pointed out that this may be indicative of being roomed up with people that she may NOT have wanted to 'room' with. When our students went to Europe, you didn't get to choose who was in your room, the rooms were merely booked. Kind of a luck of the draw.
The problem with this arrangement though is that with no one knowing for sure where or with whom Natalee was spending the night, none of the students became concerned. I had posted earlier that courtesy (good manners) would have been to at least let the people in the room to which you are assigned, know where you are going to be that night, that way, no one worries and she gets accounted for. fwiw

Where was that "said" --- verifyably stated?
Besides, on the last night with her suitcase packed and her ID and money in her room, THAT doesn;t wash.
Another angle to the girls not knowing that Natalee wasn't in her room, could be because her room mates weren't where they were supposed to be either :).. Whole lot of partying going on in Aruba..

Her two roomies get up..probably a wake-up call..no Natalie..bed not slept in..her bags the same as the night before..so she never came home..her clothes for today laid out...they do nothing..not concerned? The roomies shower, dress..no Natalie...they're not concerned??? They leave the room, take their bags down..tell no one that Natalie never came back that morning..not concerned????They get on the bus...go to the airport..tell no one..NOT concerned..Oh, pulleaze...If I were Natalie's parents..you sit the two girls down..ask them to give it up...
