Is this the beginning of the end? Some days ago the NH story fell from the lead story on Nancy Grace, and then fell to just a few minutes of the broadcast...
Other stories on cable news seemed to leap-frog over the aging NH story. The London Olympics, for example. The location of Shasta Groane. (I am not arguing one way of the other about the relative newsworthiness of these stories.)
Tonight it was a small part of Greta's show (understandably due to the terrorist bombing.) Are they (Fox, Greta) hoping to wean viewers off the story? While many of us don't tire of it, how about most of their viewers? I am hearing a growing fatigue for the story from people on FR (people who tired of Scott Peterson and OJ etc.) and among the general public.
Without Fox in Aruba---and Fox/Greta will eventually leave, sooner or later and move on to other stories---I fear it will all be over for Beth. And that's what the judicial system and government of this banana republic are waiting on. The story will die and they can do what they wish, as they had planned at the git-go, until Beth and U.S. media screwed it up and they weren't able to frame the security guards.
Changing the subj a bit---has it been stated why Greta promo'd an interview with Deepak for her show LAST night (Wednesday night) that never happened? (Or did I just miss it somehow?)
She teased us with the promo, but she didn't air it."
I suspect that Deepak's lawyer strongly objected to the interview because he is still a suspect. OR he may have violated a gag order of sorts. She should have told her viewers why it wasn't aired.
