I don't forget what people say here. Your compassion is directed to me but ought to be directed to these sad sad people who have lost a lovely daughter. Just because I don't post my prayers on the thread for them publicly doesn't mean that I don't pray for them.
Mat 6:6-7And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
It also doesn't mean that I am going to turn a blind eye to personal responsibilty. Compassion takes many forms. Remember the old story about being compassionate and giving the poor person money for dinner, and it was pointed out that it would have been even more compassionate to teach that person how to fish, hunt or garden, so that they would be able to feed themseves always, instead of just one meal.

(Personal accountability doesn't begin and stop with the other person.)

You're preaching personal responsibility reminds me of the following passage. He also said to them, You completely invalidate Gods command in order to maintain your tradition! For Moses said: Honor your father and your mother; and, Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death. But you say, If a man tells his father or mother: Whatever benefit you might have received from me is Corban (that is, a gift committed to the temple), you no longer let him do anything for his father or mother. You revoke Gods word by your tradition that you have handed h down. And you do many other similar things. The Holy Bible Holman Christian standard version. 2003 (Mk 7:9-13). Giddyup horsey (personal responsibility)!! What don't you understand about Natalee's mind having been subjected to drugs and therefore the inability to act in her USUAL responsible manner?
